Wuerker cartoons 2025

It was the best of times. It was the worst of times. It was the HUGEST of times. It was the CRAZIEST of times. People say THEY’VE NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE IT! 2025 was one wild year. It was wild from the start. Ranging from the calls to seize Greenland, the Panama Canal as well as annex Canada, to the declaration of a Trump Gaza Riviera, not to mention the DOGE raids, ICE raids and gold leaf raids on the Oval Office and so much more, people haven’t seen anything like it. I’ve been scratching out cartoons going back to the Carter years and I’ve never had so much material to work with. Truly, I’ve never seen anything like it. It was hard to pick out my favorites but here’s a selection of my takes on a very crazy and cartoonish 2025.
